Like a rivet and a nut apparently? Is that right?

How this has come about is, I've managed to get hold of front and rear light guards for the P38 for free...that's a £100 worth of kit for nowt, can't be bad as they're unused still in the box.
But, it has these RivNut thingies that require popping into holes drilled in the body and I've been told that I need a special tool to do it.
A RivNut toll I guess.
Does anyone know where I can get such a device and would the cost be prohibative just to fit some plastic light guards?

if you were closer i would put them in for you, the riv nuts are cheap but the gun ,(abit like a regular rivit gun but has a mandrel that squeezes the nut)
i think you can buy them for around 50 notes ....very useful for spotlights etc regards dave

yes that s the one i think you can get them a little cheaper, be careful when you use it keep the tool square to the rivnut or the mandrel can break, regards dave
