Rivet Paint

Evening again Chaps,

I wish to paint some rivets/screws to match the body colour (Aintree Green).

What is the best procedure/product.

That's how you know the landrovers been messed with ... the rivet heads that are fitted after the body has been painted, are painted over ...

If you are using ali rivets you will need to etch prime and then paint them. Any brand primer will do really, whatever you can get your hands on. I use hammarite special metals primer, but that is because I can buy it in hombease when I runout halfway through and it is red and my land rover is red.

Thanks Chaps, it has had chequer plating on, clean as a whistle underneath and bolted on so the paintwork is great.

Personally, don't think rivets look right, painted
