Well my rangie has come to an end (not by my choice but some coward scumbags)
From not having a clue about them iv learned alot through here more people in the know here then the landy dealers.
I got her cheep and on the road out of despration for a motor after the engine dying in my old vw van.
over the past 12k she's always needed a bit of tlc and if i knew my last drive of her would be 145back from hospital and too my girlfriends house last night well id have taken a detour round the country.
She was a little rough and on coils so not as pure as 90% of the others on here but even still the red devil was my girlfriends way of getting her confidence and learning to drive (and to be hers by that time) since its upto towing two clydsdales and a trailer. She's draged stuff through fields towed an alot done everything ever asked of it. Bar a stinky fusebox which i fiddled with and broke and a flat battery and a gearbox pipe going pop she's never left me stranded. Well shes been a cracking motor and will be missed.
a big big thanks to folks that have helped me out on here cheers for helping me keep the old girl going as long as i did.

Dse. Heated seats. front fogs. Cruise control. Cup holders. Black interior and trim. Tuning box on it boost gauge.
Few bad bits
Whine in 1st
Terrible roof lining and pillar trims.
Some boot trims missing.
On springs.
Crack in windscreen.
Oil leak out the breather
Glowplugs need done.
Needs a battery left anymore then 5hrs it's dead.
Overall I'm happy though

1st gear. Try changing fluids. Might not have been done. Dead easy. Breather always bl**dy leaks! Battery: RF receiver? Springs? Oh f*ck!

Boy had done fluids before still the same.
Got a 2nd hand box with it if it does go pop.
Battery il take a guess at battery as it looks old as anything local factors will give me one overnight to see.
Mot till February.
Swapped for a motor I advertised at 600 so she need a bit of attention.
Springs arnt the end of the world to me tbh. All the lines and valve block and pump for the eas is gone.
Need to find a set of original untinted lights it looks a bit drug dealerish

Finding the manual range really weird to get used to compared to the auto range
 
OMG, it's on springs, call the cops, it will lurch to the nearest ditch and send a LOL signal to all proper air sprung ones via blootoof (or sumfing) urging them to do a smug drive-past/point n laff.......

Hahahaha it's not the end of the world.
For basically a 600quid rangie with heaps of mot what do you expect
Drives straight and true without shakes and no springs or shocks broken cant complain
 
as long as your happy, you now have the chance to make your own changes and add your own personal touches until your smile is as big as your pride!! Happy bus driving..:cool:;):D

So parked up after a 3hr run.
Straight after switch off disconnected battery 14.1v in the battery
After a hour 13.3.
This morning stone dead flat.

So looks like a battery issue and not the motor.
