Classic Right front light cassing, weird issue

So, I worked some on the wiring today. The emergency flash lights don't work, and it is either flashing left (left and off) or right (right). Also, the right standing light is dead.

I measured through the wiring and connections and discovered something weird... The left front light casing (flashers and standing light) isn't connecting the bulbs with the casing itself. The right one is. And I think this is the problem, the right casing, somehow, short circuiting the flash light and the standing light. I seems, I am a complete blank when it comes to electronics and electrical systems. Anyone any thoughts?

Correction, the emergency flash lights are working now. Remains the issue of constantly flashing left...

Never mind. Problem one: faulty connector of the right standing light. Problem two: Faulty flasher switch, there are two wires making contact either flashing left or right, the left one was bent and had constant contact. All that's left is putting everything thong back together!
