Ride height calibration.

My disco was sitting about 15mm low on the drivers side, so I swapped the sensors round to see if one was at fault, and now the drivers side sits even lower. ( I have no air leaks in the system or bags ).

I,ve done a few searches and have seen the words " recalibrated " crop up.

Is this what my SLS system needs, and if so is it main dealer only or can my local independant do it ?.

i have had the same with my td5, i fitted new sensors and had it all checked over only to be told by an independant that up to an inch out of level is nothing to worry about so i havent worried about it since, some days it sits level, others it doesnt.

high mine is exactley the same so i put 2 brand new ride height sensors and had it calibrated and after a couple of days it started leaning on drivers side again and its an inch out on the rear and also the front because the rear drags the front down to and its awfull to drive like this

Well if it cant be recalibrated sucsessfully, then I,ll cut the sensor connecting rod and lengthen it slightly. ( couple of 4mm wire cable clamps and some 4mm rod should do it !! ).

good plan, Land Rover will charge you for the calibration with no guarentee of getting it level..!

Got a price of £ 35 to £ 50 plus vat for a re calibration.

I ended up elongating the top hole on the sensor mount, and tipped the sensor forward slightly.

It sits dead leval now.
