Paucity of detail, buggrem. not that I care, I have coils on mine
even so... Chris's mod was eminently simple. all you needed was a spare
pair of front springs and a spare front spring shackle, and some extra-long
U bolts. I can't right now remember which way round it was, but the effect
was that one end of the spring wasn't linked to the chassis directly but was
attached to slightly more than half a spring which was in turn bolted under
the chassis at it's other end.
