Hi any of you guys fitted a reversing camera? Just ordered one to go with the new stereo when they turned up and im wondering about routing the wire to headunit, does it have to be powerd from reversing light etc? Ideally i think id like it on a switch so it can be used when driving and the van is full and i cant use the mirror but mainly its for backing upto the trailor.

I had one on my Vw camper wired up to a switch and a roof mounted lcd panel monitor, I had an IR camera so was quite good in the dark as well

Hi, steering wheel radio control now a reversing camera....splashing out or what ;)
I bought/fitted a wireless one last year & hooked it up to my double din Kenwood, works fine...camera does get a bit dirty in the bad weather tho, you have to take the live feed from the Reversing Lights or you could just use any perm live if you want the choice of being able to switch it on & see who is tailgating you :D

I'm after a live feed at the back of my car for a camera - but for a rear facing 'dash cam'.
not located a live feed yet.
