Rev when ticking over.

I am new to this but could do with some help please .I have a Freelander L SERIES which over revs when it wants.I had the codes read and they said pedal sensor and Air MASS sensor I replaced them with new parts also had the codes cleared but the problem is still there anyone had these problems.
