Retrofit Diesel Particulate Filter?

Some companies are providing a filter system to replace the silencer box, I wondered if anyone has investigated the cost.

I've spent 2 years and too much money getting my 1992 200tdi 110 CSW back on the road, I am a little concerned at the recent annoucement that diesel drivers will start to pay higher tax to pay for the "damage" caused.

Hopefully, as before, the changes wont be applied to older vehicles, but if a retrofit option is available, as for companies wanting to bring older commercial vehicles into London's low-emission zone, perhaps this could mitigate. Depending on cost of course.

Pointless endeavour they won't care if you fit a DPF or not. The tax hike is more rumour than fact at the minute.

I doubt any legislation will ever effect any pre 2001 car.

When lez first came about kit to retrofit an hgv was 5k and that was a few years ago now.
