Hello everyone, I have just aquired a 73 classic Range Rover, 1 owner from new more or less, total service history with 3 or 4 inches of bills etc, plus it's got a camper lift up roof conversion. I am told it's a rare Torcars, 1 of 2 apparently, the other being in holland now.

I was just going to give it a quick "tart up" but really now have decided it deserves the full monty. I've never done anything like this before to such a degree and will doubtless need some advice in the coming months and years.

The fist question is this, it's nasty blue at the moment (original colour) but I much prefer masai red, would it be oh so bad to change the colour?

Secondly, does anyone have any advice as where to send my engine to have it rebuilt, and what to do to it, slightly more power would be nice, but nothing too serious.

Also, are the plastic seats being remanufactured yet? I need 2 front bases.

Thank you for your help

Steven

Thanks for the advice.

Awesome is not a word that springs to mind, knackered might be more like it! :p

Seriously it's not too bad really, I have some pics on my other pc and I shall try and post them, although you'll have to bear with me cos I'm new to this lark.
