Replacing sat nav

Good evening people. Just a quick question I want to change my sat nav to a dim touch screen. Any one have any ideas how and have any of you done it. I own a 2007 Freelander 2 HSE 2.2.

I have a 2012 pre face lift and many of us have fitted the Xtrons unit. This gives you all android apps plus you can wire up a reversing camera. Mine doesn't dim but I believe that needs to be connected to the lights on instalation. But it's great to have Google maps/Waze and the ability to watch yourube videos.

What do you mean? The nav dims in unison with the outside light level, and there's a manual dim if it's still to bright.

These replacement navs use Google maps, but integration into the factory audio system is poor at best. I've decided to use the factory nav, and supplement it with my Android phone if needed, as I use the audio system far more often than the nav.
