Replacing P38 diesel Pump HELP

Hi there, ' I need to change the diesel injection pump on my 1995 diesel P38 Range Rover. I have the pump. My question is do I need the locking tool to replace the pump. Not changing the chain just the pump. Any help would be great thank you.

Yes you do, it's not that dear to buy 'laser' make it.
You may need engine locking tools but I've done loads without.

It's just the fuel
Pump removal tool. I'm pretty sure it's the same for the freelander td4, as we only have one tool and I've done both with it. If you haven't done one before I might recommend you get the engine timing kit to make sure you know the engine is still correctly timed up
