Replacing EDC pump with mechanical injector pump

Hi all,

I am on the verge of picking up a 96 300tdi auto to put in my Defender, unfortunately it's EDC. Any particular model of mechanical pump needed (model numbers /image etc) as I'm confused by Err4046 Err6727.
Any help appreciated.

I have done this and the injector pump was the first that came to hand in the scrapyard.

P.S. I got the injectors and pipes too. If you can get a pump from a RRC it will already have the kickdown brackets.

Thanks big jack, just sourced the pump, injector and pipes. Now for the kick down brackets.....

I got my brackets from Ashcroft Transmission but you could try the Belfast LandRover centre in Saintfield. If you had of been in Belfast in September I could have showed you mine.
