The radio in my 300 series Disco has a couple of buttons loose.

This wasn't a problem till one of themfell off and disappeared. I can't find it anywhere, and the unshrouded LED, plus awkwardness of pressing the tiddly little button underneath is a pain, so I need to replace it.

I want a head unit that will drive the multichanger under my seat, and work with the radio controls on theinstrument binnacle.

Tape or single CD slot on head unit not a problem. Decent radio (RDS and traffic reports) essential. Nothing too flash.

Any recommendations? I'm guessing i may need additional cables and stuff, but i don;t know where to start.

Many thanks

I may yet venture into the emporia you detail, but I was looking for informed opinion. Not something the spotty schoolboys that 'work' in those places are well versed in.

Doubtless they could help me to 'bling' it up, or put a ludicrously sized speaker in the load area, but thats not really what I want!

Thanks for your help though!

You will find it hard to find a head unit that will run the cd changer but i think you can buy a cable that will allow you to still use the dash controlls.
