I think QRB500160PMA superceded the original part number mtc3499 but I may be wrong?

It's the same part number you posted .

I can not find any sellers of steering wheels column covers for a 64 plate. All day up to 2007..

Have you tried ringing and speaking to them (the parts supplier that is)?
