replacement engine

just out of pure interest howeasy would it be to fit this into a P38

Mega squirt ecu to run it and speak to irish rover about bcem config to stop any annoying mesages. you will then need to look at better gearbox and transfer box as standard will no like it (google overfinch p38 will give you an idea)
then **** like exhausts etc.

Seen a defender on youtube with supercharged engine=mental

looked at that myself mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm or audi 4.2v8 400hp without supercharger

Would need the brakes sorted, standard p38 brakes **** if your in a real real hurry like 2 miles at 80-100mph on twisting road so I'm told.

Drool @ that engine..........!

personally, I'm not keen on nikasil engines, but hey knock yourself out.

Audi 4.2 better
