Hey all,
I finally took the plunge after a couple of years of patching the rear chassis sections to have the 1/2 chassis replaced.
scoured the Internet and found these guys

Didn’t know much about them other than their eBay shop selling all variants of the chassis to fit yourself (1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1/2 extended)
gave Ann a call at RCP and booked the D2 in, was a 7 week waiting time so took that as a good sign.
dropped it off to them last Saturday and Ann said should be ready for next Saturday... had a call on Tuesday evening this week to say it was complete!
couldn’t arrange a lift there until today so shot over and picked the old girl up.
couldn’t be happier, looks a nice job and should last me many many more years!
only negative was the rear off side bumper light fell out on the way home never to be seen again lol!
hope someone finds this useful if they need anything doing, I have no connection to them other than I just paid them £1,850 for them to do this for me. (Exactly what they quoted which was nice!)
If I would have been more prepared I would of had a replacement fuel tank strap/cover fitted at the same time.
