Hi There,
It is my first time on this forum, but having just purchased my first Landrover I imagine it will not be my last time.
I have a 2007 Freelander 2 diesel. On the whole I am pleasantly surprised however...
When I got it home I realised the screen on the radio was shot, so I bought a replacement brand new CD 400 for it, the good news is the screen now works fine but there are 2 main differences to what I thought was a like for like unit.
1. The radio no longer turns on and off with the ignition.
2. The parking sensors no longer make a sound.
I did not do any modifications to the wiring, the 2 large multi pin plugs seem in tact. I thought it may be part of the new unit setup but I can not find any settings that look remotely suitable.
I normally use old posts to fix all problems, but I cannot see anything even nearly topical out there.
Help would be appreciated.
