Replace reversing sensor

I need to replace one of the middle reversing sensors. Is it possible to replace this without removing the rear bumper? If I lay underneath I can see the affected sensor, but cannot get in there to replace. If I remove the silver under-tray, would this allow me better access? I thought I'd ask before laying down on the wet floor!

I think you may have answered that question. You will probably need to remove the bumper to replace the sensor.

I can't get to it with the under-tray in place - would removing it allow me more access?

is there an undertray at the back ? if so, mines been stolen !

Ok, so it may not be called an under-tray, but I mean the silver part underneath he bumper, held on with 2 bolts.

not sure if it comes off separately, I'd be inclined to undo the two bolts and see first. either way, they need undoing.

got confused 'cos mines not posh enough to be the facelift version.:cheer2:

I removed the 2 bolts in question , but found the panel still retained , bumper off me thinks too
