Replace a front wing

I couldn't find a guide on changing a front wing either on the forum or in RAVE. So having just done it I thought I'd give a brief summary on how I did it.

1. Jack up the car and remove the front wheel.
2. Remove the mudflap if fitted and then remove the plastic underarch cover which is held by about half a dozen plastic clips
3. Remove the plastic cover between the wing and the door recess held by another 2 plastic clips.
4. Open the door and remove the screws holding the decorative plate on the cill and then pull the trim away from the wing to get at the bolts at the bottom of the wing.
5. Remove the bolts under the trim.
6. Remove the bolt under the wing near the door jam, easier with a long extension.
7. Remove the bolt at the front of the wing at the top of the bumper. I removed the bumper as I was also changing a smashed fog light.
8. Remove the bolts on the top of the wing, under the bonnet.
9. Disconnect the side indicator lamp by twisting and pulling.
10. Remove wing.

The whole job took around 2 hours but I had drill out the rusted screws on the mudflap and change the wing trim strip.
