repair to V8 head gasket

Hi my classic V8 has blown its head gasket, owing to age and ill-health I cant fix it myself now days. Has anyone used or know if " steel seal" works and lasts or is it just another useless item? would be pleased to hear any thoughts.

Best fix properly and read about outer bolts that were later deleted as tip heads ( so are fitted to fill hole at 25nm only)
Older classic head gasket fail the head tips on gasket and blows into valley cooking oil and often buldging valley gasket.

Liquid repair are not successful often and only good on local bangers ready to scrap

Your welcome, also with repair use composite gasket as they seal better than original steel gaskets.
