Renovate or Get Rid?

My name is Lozz Hipkiss. I have owned TDi LR Disco's for 20 years and am at the point of wondering if the one I have now R reg 2.5 - 81,500 miles is worth renovation or if I should ditch the car for something smaller and ...erm more financially sensible. I love the Disco and as I am 6' 4" and 20 stone, it fits me nicely. Also just like the great all round vision etc. all this besides the 4X4 capability if required. BUT the heater is rubbish, the air con is not too good, the body is showing signs of age the rear sun roof leaks...etc etc. I live in Dudley West Mids and it would be great to let someone look it over and give me an idea of the cost of renovation. I would like to get it back into good condition.

You could always consider diy

To be honest a few years ago that sould have been my solution but these days I just dont have the time to do it myself. Some stuff would be beyong me anyway because I dont have any welding gear.
