Got my renewal through from Admiral and its gone up again by £50 this time so doing a bit of phoning around to try and get something a bit more competitive.

Landy is a 1996 110 CSW only mods are Safari Snorkel, Chequer plate on bonnet and wings, Spotlights and a steering guard.
I'm 36 with 17 years no claims

Admiral want £447 to renew

Lancaster wont insure as they only cover up to a max of 7 seats??? The guy on the phone didn't believe me at first that it was made that way in the factory. Not so good as their advert in LRM says they are a Land rover specialist

Direct line £451 but I would have to call them back with the mod details to get a revised price

Adrian Flux will come back to me as their current panel insurers can't quote for the vehicle???

Is anyone else having problems with the no of seats fitted with their 110 CSW insurance?

Some insurances offer online discount (it tends to creep up when you ring them) so check first. Strangely just renewed one of mine with direct line and it dropped £65.

After phoning admiral and having a bit of moan I suddenly get £50 off! So back to £400 happy days, incidentally no call back from Adrian flux

Didn't receive a call back from Adrian Flux which is pretty **** poor service. So if they can't even have the courtesy of calling me back when they said they would then I shudder to think what it would be like to deal with them for a claim.......
