Hello peeps,
Anyone recommend a good way of removing the pipe from 1 way valve to the brake servo (it is an L series - however I believe it is same setup on the TD4)
The pipe is a solid vac hos and looks like it may have been heated prior to pushing on. Is the best way to use a heat gun on it ? - or is there anyone with a 'cunning plan' ? ;)

Difficulty I have at the mo is where the freeby is parked in relation to running a supply for a heat gun.....

Has anyone actually removed / replaced the pipes ?
Many thanks
Joe

Heat is your friend Joe. Even then the old plastic pipe can be brittle and just snap. I've just cut them off in the past and use a length of rubber or silicone pipe to rejoin later on.
Thanks Nodge mate, yeah, that's the only way I can see to do it.... will have to get those logs moved and get it closer to the house.....
I have had success getting similar pipes back on by dipping the end in boiling water for a minute or so, however - not practical for getting them off lol :)
Cheers
Joe
