Removing paint from Chrome?

Hi everyone,

I have few parts on my landrover such as wheels and rear corner bumper things (dont know the name) and they are chrome.

Someones painted over them and I need to remove the paint without damaging the chrome underneath.

Any ideas? There must be a way...

nitromos paint stripper should be fine if it is chrome

hello john just been readin ya post an for the life of me cant understand why anyone would want to see chrome on a landrover


1- it looks ****e

2- leave it for the slitty cars

3- leave the paint on the chrome or just paint over it

4- next you'll be wanting to know where to get chequer plate from

any elp mate
