removing ird

hi there i think i will be removing the ird on my hippo at weekend to send for a recon just wondered if any one has done it and how big of a job is it. Bought a manual on saturday so will study that but if any one has done one and has any advice it will be nice to here from you

yeh will do thanks for that however driving home tonight and when im doing about 35 40 and accelerating a loud grating noise came from underneath sounds like metal on metal or something has come loose but its to dark to look tonight
