While I was out playing today my height adjustment switch took a bit of a hit  and now feels like there is something trapped behind it. It will raise the suspension easily but when I try to lower it again there feels to be a lot of resistance behind the button.

I'm wanting to take the button out to see if there is anything broken off or just trapped. Does anyone know if I can just pop the button out? or do I have to take the centre console out to get to it.

Cheers

It's held in with a clip top and bottom located in the middle of the top edge and bottom edge - you are supposed to take the dash to bits to remove it

However, - if you break an old hacksaw blade or something similar and feed one bit into the top clip and one into the bottom you can ease the whole switch out
Leave the blades or whatever in place to hold the clips back as you try and remove the switch - it's fiddly but do-able :)

Cheers Kenny I'll give that a try tomorrow, I have some stereo removal keys which should hopefully do the job. :)

Failing that I have checked the rave cd and centre console removal is in there but I think that is more of a weekend job.

Didn't manage to get the switch out but did hear something metallic fall into the back of the centre console so im assuming that is one of the clips. Looks like I will be taking the console out at the weekend .

After taking the front cover off the height selector lights (accidentally used a little too much force at one point ) I found a piece of glass trapped under the switch which im thinking is from one of the bulbs although they are all still working at the mo so going to order a new switch to replace when I take it apart.

Cheers for your help Kenny
