hi

Retrofitted front electric seats and drivers seat came with a memory module, done a wire alteration which bypassed the memory module , these are normally fitted to HSE , mines a base model so extra wiring isn’t there, as the memory module will control, seats / door mirrors / electric steering column

After bypassing the memory module it only allowed a 2 x second burst of power at the switches

Done an investigation in what it would take to completely remove this

Got another loom and done some alterations to it and a 8 x way seat switch pack

Spent time identifying what colour wires went to what motor , 4 x motors are fitted for, forward/ backwards , up/ down, back tilt ,front tilt cushion up/ down

Finally got it all done, Hope it helps others that with a memory seat it can be completely removed and with some minor alterations have a constant powered seat

Also fitted my D4 steering wheel, just got to disconnect the battery again in order I can refit the steering wheel airbag and reconnect the seats airbag and reset the airbag system
