ARRRRGH!
One simple job, so I thought.
N/s rear bump stop missing since before I bought the Disco. Finally got around to buying a new one. Penetrating oil on the single bolt and it undoes nicely. gentle prod with screwdriver..err flat prying tool
...and the front half of the bump stop plate falls off leaving the bit with the two prongs on it stuck in the chassis. Why can't things ever be simple with a Landy? (rhetorical question possibly)
How can I get that bit of metal out of the chassis so I can get the new one in? Might just pass it to my local garage so they can use proper gear such as gas axes etc to sort it
Bump stops are a "good thing" to have on a vehicle, just in case, or perhaps when you cause the suspension to flex to its limits
