Hi All,
Does anyone know if an L322 (2003) should be able to roll up and down the windows from the remote key? Because mine doesn't.

On a P38 you can close the windows the windows from the remote by holding the lock button down for 5 seconds or so.

I have tried holding the unlock button to open the windows and the lock button (when windows are open) for at least 5 secs. I wondered if the function could have been disabled for safety reasons and could be re-set.

Hi

Thanks, I've found out the L322 can be programmed to open and close the windows from the fob. Some were not set up for this as a safety precaution as the fob does not have to pointed at a sensor. I have a C class and it has an infared reciever on the driver door handle that must be aligned with the fob before the windows will close and open, much safer I suppose.

Well you lern something new some days left my drivers window down and locked from the remote holding down the lock button and 2 secs later hey presto a clossing window, made my day that did.

well little things amuse.

thanks for that one.

Do you know how to program this function into the key?

I read you need to take it to a dealer but they would need to know what they were doing (as not requested very often). It's not the key it's the car that needs to allow the windows to work when you hold the close or open button. I am looking to buy a BBS Faultmate FCR not sure if this would allow you to do this but I wouldn't think so.
