Remote overhaul on p38 how to part remote

Hi there thanks for looking I have bought a new remote casing to put the internals in out of my old remote but am struggling to seperate the two halfs I don't want to damage the remote casing . Does anyone know how it comes apart.

They are plastic welded together.....they can come apart if you use a small hacksaw blade or dremel and cut round the seem....

Be advised that the electronics bosrd is quite close to the edges, so if you do cut be midful of this.

Others have had success levering it apart, but be careful you don't snap the board apart.
