Fob has lost sync input EKA when accepted fob can be synced.

just tried entering eka code on Nanocom went to becm entered code pressed enter bottom right of the screen. leave becm and go back eka code is not there? I am obviously doing something wrong, but I dont know what. still locks and unlocks with the key an starts fine. Give me a clue please.

Not sure it shows the EKA unless BECM is unlocked?

You can clear the RF memory for the fob in the BECM module somewhere and then resync the key if necessary.

Mine is a MY 2000 and the auto-sync has never worked, ever.
Of the 2 original keys, if one goes out of Sync and you put in the EKA (by doorlock or Nanocom) you end up with one of the 2 not recognised.
However, if you Clear RF memory (as mentioned above) you do get 2 fully working fobs.
Just part of LR P38a idiosyncrasies I guess. Hope you get it all sorted.

As you say, they are all different, I have never had to use the EKA code even when the FOB has lost sync.
