Relay buzzing

Hi guys, on my 1989 defender rebuild its come to the electrics stage, upon trying to plug all the hazards in and therefore also the indicators, when turning anything on, the relay just buzzes, quite loudly! I have no idea whats gone on really! Any ideas?

mine did this, I just binned it and fitted an led version (still worked fine for the standard lights till I upgraded them to led)

Couldn't voltage measurements be taken to find the fault like the garage does? Instead of just fitting parts? I am only new to all this but thats looks like a expensive way of finding faults.

Garages just fit parts, the relay is 12.99

I didnt know that! Is that reason garages cost more money? What if its not the relay what will be changed next?

Turns out an earth on one of the indicators was bad, fixed that and all is well! Sorry to bother you all

Thank you getting back and letting us all know. Did the relay buzz when both sides were turned on, just one or the hazard warning system?

Also did you purchase a flasher relay and try that first.
