Rear wiper change to Intermitant

Is it possible to change my rear wiper to intermitant as opppsed to on or off, by changing just the switch ? ( If there is a switch) Or do I have to change the motor,This is on a Def 90 1998 hard top with what I think is the original switch.....

You can change the relay to a Vw item the Vw one has the number 99 on the top but there are a couple of wires to swop around too. There was a guide on one forum but I can't remember which. Just do a google search for defender intermitant wiper relay or something along those lines
 
yeah i remember reading a thread that mod' the rear wiper to intermittant but compared to the easiest mod in the world - just sourcing + swapping a relay for the front wipers- it sounded like a hell of a lot of effort! :confused:

FYI for the front, its a VW no 99 relay, part number VW 357 955 531 -dnt know if it'll work for the rear?
 
Just to clarify, the front intermittent is just a relay change but the rear needs some wiring modification too. I don't know how to do a link but have a search on defender2.net for the thread with the how too guide :)
