Any brand recommendations for a rear wiper arm? The last El Cheapo one I fitted seemed to collapse on one side and proceeded to gouge the screen rubber as it wiped.
Has anyone used the the £40 LR branded one, and is it actually any better than the £10 jobbie?

Just do not rely on the ECP or halfords lists pointing you in the right direction. last time I used one they gave me the wrong style wiper.
I used an ebay jobbie, but from one of the reputable suppliers .

Cheers

Thanks, but it's that arm itself I'm in need of (though I do need a blade too). Just wondering if I splurge on a genuine LR one will it turn out to be the same as the cheaper ones...!

The standard D2 arms need a non standard wiper to fit. I understand if you use a D1 arm, an off the shelf wiper blade will fit.

Does a D1 arm fit a D2? Wonder if it would sit on the glass better, all the D2 ones I've had seem to miss the top of the glass as the arm shape looks wrong.

IIRC, the rear door is the same, so presumably the wiper arm will fit.... No wait, this is LR we are talking about :eek::mad::rolleyes:

AFAIK, they are the same :)

All 3 D1 wiper arms will work on a D2. The rear wiper arm needs to be bent for better contact onto the rear window and cable tie the jet nozzle hose to the arm.
