Rear Washer Relay. Where is it?????

Hi guys. Rear washer on my Freelander 1 is defunct!. Suspect relay but cant find it. Any ideas???

No pump sound? check fuse #1 Mine is NBG too but I have pump sound so I suspect a blockage some place in the pipeline. Possibly the non-return valve - where-ever that is.

Have you replaced the pump? The pump is the least reliable part, as it's where water and electricity mix. From memory the relay is part of the CCU, so would need to be replaced by someone who's good with a soldering iron.

Thanks for that. I have bought a pump but was trying to avoid the bumper off saga!!!!

Thanks for that . Cant hear the pump so I guess its bumper off time.

Just a thought, does the rear wiper work? If not, there's an issue with the window as the CCU is stopping the wiper and washer from working because it's not seeing the window is closed.

Oh, and there's no need to remove the bumper to get to the pumps. You simply need to move the arch liner out the way, although getting the screws out can be a challenge and access is tight, but it's possible.
