Rear tub light covers Defender 90

Hi

As as new member, I have a question!
The rear tub light wiring covers are bolted
Ive found the hole for the bottom screw but the top hole isnt present in my defender
Are they drilled through the rear panel body work and a bolt inserted then painted over
to disguise the bolt

Any help greatly appreciated

I used stainless steel button head bolts, look good and no need to paint.
