Hi All,
Can anyone help out?
By the way, new to forum but have read items in the past really good!
Supposed to be able to replace the above by lowering axle, chassis on stands and shocks removed. Wheels removed.
Can't seem to get the axle lower enough for the springs to "drop" out and easily get the new ones in.
Would it help to remove rear anti roll bar?
Rather confused and frustrated now. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
JB.

make sure the stands holding the chassis are strong.. raise these up so you can get a lot of droop.
Remove anti roll bar(easiest is normally at the D rubbers )
Trolley jack up the oposite axle & it should drop the axle low enough to remove the spring

Thanks,
I'll give that a try. Much appreciated.

Is it standard springs ? If it’s had a lift they may be a bit more difficult to get out. Should still shift with some persuasion though.

Yes, the anti roll bar is designed to stop the axle articulating, which is what you need it to do to get the springs out.
If they are longer than std (+2" for example) you may need to push the axle down to get the springs unseated.

It's best too support the car on the chassis when doing this.
