Heres the rough pic i drew when i made/am making mine for my disco 2...its not quite finished.
Youll need lots of 5 ply timber, L brackets, shelf brackets & lots of wood screws all from b&q; luggage lashing eyes (got mine from LR for a Disco 2). To fix to the boot floor I use light duty ratchet straps for ease of removal of the whole thing if necessary.
Mine backs onto the rear seats & dog guard so from the second shelf has no back to it to save on timber costs.
For storage I used b&q (unbreakable!-well i havent yet!) plastic storage boxes-i got the ones on wheels so they roll out. I keep them in their holes by putting a strap across them, again secured to lashing eyes bought from LR.
Pretty basic but it works!
