rear seats

ok so i have a set of nappa seats im refurbing. the seats are out of the car but i cant seem to unfold them as they are kind of locked folded how they were taken out. any ideas? thanks

I think the latches on the seat base have to be engaged onto the bars on the floor to allow the seat to fold back, you may have to manipulate the latches to move them back if out of the car.

Yeah this what I thought. Have tried nut can't seem to do it. Wondered if there was a knack to it

You could try a length of similar diameter bar into the latches, see if that works?

can be done but fiddley,press the catch up and then move the thinner piece of metal but watch you fingers

ill have play tomorrow. was scared of losing a finger lol. was trying with a screwdriver but it wouldnt budge.
