rear seats and road tax!!

hello all,I am about to buy a 55 plate land rover 90 station wagon with bench seats I would like to buy the forward facing seats for my kids (under 14) has anybody got the price of the land rover ones as i like them over the exmoor ones.also when does the road tax go up as the sales guy has told me the road tax will be £215 but I was told that the road tax will be over £400 by April!!also what sort of mpg are you guys doing??

According to Parkers Guide to car tax,if your co2 is over 225g/km and the vehicle was registered before 23 march 2006 the taxation group will be tax band K but only temporarily (£245 for 12 mnths) .I assume it will then continue to go up and up in the budgets

Can you claim it as a trade vehicle if you register it with a limited company?

right that's the road tax done it will be £245 from April.anybody have a info on the rear forward facing seats can i buy the forward facing seats from the newer land rover and just fit them!

No, the key to being a trade vehicle is its taxation class. This is unaffected whether the vehicle is registered to an individual or a company, limited or otherwise.

My freelander is classed as a light goods vehicle, and it is privately owned by me as an individual, but I only pay the £185 road tax.

THANK YOU Dazz!!spoke to the lady at trakkers and got two back seats on order she was very helpful so i will be buying the front middle seat as well.the two forward facing are ok for kids and baby seats with full seat belts so i am very happy!!
