Does anyone have a tip for removing the rear bush from a Disco 1 propshaft. I have replaced the rear coupling after shredding a cheap Ebay one in 6 weeks, but couldn't get the bush out...Please help!

M8 HT bolt about 75mm or longer .. large socket to act as spacer, tighten bolt into bush and socket will act as a brace so the bush gets pulled out.

It's still awkward, getting the right width and depth socket, and actually doing it! Use some copaslip on the bolt threads and if you have it some plumbers freezing spray on the bush, which should shrink it ever so slightly .. ;) Keep the bolt/socket as concentric to the bush as possible, they tend to slip out to one side and apply pressure unevenly.
