Freelander 1 Rear Passenger window not closing

Hi

I have a 2002 Freelander TD4 and the rear passenger window will not close , it opens fine but when I press to close it there's nothing no sound and nothing happens , it happened a few days ago first of all but then I just moved the window from side to side and eventually it started working again. However today not even that will work. Any ideas please ?

Try substituting the switch for another one and see what happens
