****!
And someone stole yer fuel tank aswell!!!
They mite as well of done at the time! it under there, somewhere under the straw and inches of dust n farm crap that had built up over time! But it was a good interesting and fun job to do, up until this point i had only really done arc and thermit welding on the rails! Which is a little extrreme for a bit of boot floor welding lmao

I have never welded (well only a tiny bit) but I wouldnt mind having a crack at this myself. Foolish?

Thanks Bob - Think I will just fit a steel one, thanks for the offer though, its much appreciated. I am a little concerned about it being picked up on the MOT and how it will sit alongside the seteel floor in terms of corrosion.

you will fit a steel floor ..ok.

someone else can have it as a bonus.steel rusts and alloy does not.
alloy floor is best,.:D:D

By the way guys I certainly dont know best!! I have read a number of posts that point to the issue with dissimilar metals accelerating corrosion, I assume that there is truth in that as I have heard it before. Dont want to have to redo floor any time soon so thought it best to not take the chance.

Also the jury appears o be out on the weld versus rivet debate!!
