rear door threshold / seal

Hi folks,

Stripped out the rear door floor seal and plate. It looks different from the normal ones I've seen.

I send the photos to YRM guys and they advised it was a Safari door, so product 227 on their website was the replacement

It is a bit pricy, so i'm wondering if I can just install a normal seal? Or Is the floor plate / door / both different which would force me to buy this section from YRM?

Take the old one to a metal fabricators - ask them to bend you a new on in stainless or zintec steel or something.

That does look like an old series type seal. Here's a few snaps of mine installed - can't see why it wouldn't fit.

£41 isn't too bad for doing a proper job. Try to concoct something else and you'll just regret it, IMO
