Not directly, but have a suspicion the new door fitted to mine before I bought it was a cheap one, was spanking new when I got the landy last august, the corrosion has already started along the bottom edge.

I got a good second hand one for a hundred off eBay.complete with heated rear window, wiper and wheel carrier

i bought one from here. turned up next day; had it sprayed in 2 pack. not stuck it on yet (this weekend) but it looks great. cant tell any diff between it and the original tbh. im going to blast it with waxoyl before putting back, but i think its all in the seam sealing and painting which is why i got a paint shop do it.

When i bought ma 110 in january the owner said he had replaced the rear door with an after market model. Its pump!

The door stay channel is to small for the stay bar and wheel, and is now bent out of shape so the stay bar is no longer attached. The rust has started round the bottom of the door even after i filled it with waxoil.

Cant see it lasting 2 years !

i guess ill see how it lasts, but cant be any worse than the one thats on lol. for £90 it was worth a punt.

im hoping it lasts better simply because im not going to mount my spare on it. the spare wrecks them imho.

i bought one glazed from paddocks 4 years ago, yeah there is a wee sign of corrosion in the inside where its folded over, but i waxoiled the inside of it and primed it with etch primer then heavy build primer before 5 coats of paint, still looks like new on the outside. Wheel has buckled it either.

If i was every gonna replace on again i would re skin it, the main problem is that the protection on the panel is no existent before its folder over the frame, so if i was re skining the door i would make sure that the everything was well waxed/painted
