rear door locks

My Defender 110, the rear door locks do not go all the way down when the central locking is activated which means i can open rear doors which activates the alarm , if they are pushed down manually everthing is okay,i must add on pressing the key fob they descend half way, any information would be great thanks.

Which year? Might just need a bit of adjustment.

Countryman? Though they where Minis i think you mean CSW county station wagon.

Pop the door card off and have a look st the mechanism. Usually pretty easy to adjust.

No worries. Should be a pretty easy endeavour, just go very slow and easy try not to break any of the clips. If you do they are cheap off ebay and easy to replace.
