Rear Door Lock freelander xedi

Hi any help would be gratefully appreciated. I’ve had a problem with the offside rear door lock when I unlock it with the central locking it won’t open so I’ve taken it apart lubricated it put it back together no change, didn’t really expect any but in putting it back together I must have flicked the child lock and now it won’t open at all, been fiddling with it for two hours now to try and get it open but no joy...I’ve got a replacement to fit. It I’m a bit stuck any ideas...
