Rear discs & pads all round.

Hi Guys,

Anyone have a good set of discs/pads?

I'm about to buy new but my truck is not worth loads and i've been piling money into it lately so a used set will do.

My rear discs and pads are shot. Front could do with pads probably.

I'm sure I saw someone selling a full new set of discs and pads on here they hadn't used but cant find the thread.

Discs and pads arent that dear new, never worth skimping out on breaks, if you just change the pads now, and the discs arent great the pads will bed into the disc and you will need new pads when you come to change the discs.

Pads new are only £13 a set
Discs are around £30

So realistically under £100 for 4 discs and pads

IMHO just buy new

just shopping around now bud but if a good set of used rear discs come up, I couldn't say no. The car is used for off road so not the tidiest specimen.

I think the sand/silt really does accelerate the wear.

Got half decent rear ones, that you can have for free. Duno mileage on them but they don't look bad, also have front but fairly worn.

I bought secondhand disks for my Defender. And they had a slight warp, so ended up putting new on, it's not a quick job on a land rover so may not be worth the risk.

I do have 4 discs and 8 pads need to double check. How would you wanna collect them?

i just bought these, mintex pads and allmakes4x4 disks
