rear demister

Hi i have a 99 freelander with the removable roof when i put the demister on the mirrors warm up but the rear screen does not clear , fuse is ok not sure about the relay but i would have thought as the mirrors warm up the fuse and relay should be ok ? any ideas cheers ..........:doh:

on mine, the mirrors always warm up when the engines running, whether the rear screen is switched on or not.

might be a bit of a red herring that...

I'd check the fuse and relay, or better, check for voltage at the rear screen contacts

you were right about the mirrors .. looked inside the door lining and one of the wires had come off ... thanks for your advise
